It's the hardest thing when you're trying to explain that your significant other is the magic Dragon. Yeah, so he's the magic Dragon. And they do about a two hour live first and foremost comedy show close second is really incredible magic stuff that makes you feel young at heart and you go no, and then the whole audience goes no, how did they do that? And then you know, you feel like a child again, which is the point of adulthood, I believe. And then you have Jade, who comes out in probably sixty four pounds of feathers, heels, sequins, and.

1:27 A smile almost to the button. And Jade, first of all, you've done so many really kind of sweet, beautiful, wonderful media appearances. And I don't want to say it today everything is out the window and you're seeing the real mad and. We're going to see and we're going to see the real you. But I will say that one of the most fun parts about your show, first of all, is the way it flows is mind boggling. I don't know how you guys managed to fill that airtime I'm in that space and the stage so seamlessly and easily because you make it look easy, which I think is probably not what happens behind the scenes, but you make it look easy.

I am better known as a Kara Bournette, Lucille ball show girl wrapped up into rhinestone and feathers, and also the sidekick to the One and the Only Piff, the Magic Dragon and five chihuahas. And these chihuahuas have been in our insane life. But yes, we're comedy where magic.

2:58 It kind of all started with a performing artist accidentally walking into another gentleman's dressing room holding up a top and didn't realize he was in there. I love that, Yes, and is that maybe that could be a story. I was just to say, well, we have some stories for you. But no. I started out as a performer, always in dance and you know, music and theater and everything. And I really loved doing comedy and I loved m seeing and hosting events and I just pursued my career as much as I could. And the grateful and very faithful no I'm kidding, the grateful day of being in Las Vegas. I was a guest star on a show and he was the mel guest star on a show, and I'm not lying to you. I ran into his dressing room holding up my bra. His story, of course, is completely different. I was, you know, naked from head to tech.

You know, and we met each other and we kind of put He was, you know, doing magic in comedy and performing all around the world, and I was in other shows and we just kind of like flirted a little bit that night, went out on a date the next day, and ten and a half years later, we have done a ten year residency and we just resigned for three years until congratulations. Yeah, that's so amazing. That is a fantastic story. So Jada, I'm picturing you running into this dressing room topless as he in a dragon costume. In this whole see see how this started. And then we're going to get into some more fun stuff. Hello people, I hope you're ready. It is eight o'clock here in Las Vegas time, and I've already been up for two hours.

Yeah, it's I was actually playing the female comedy guest on this show, and he was the Malk comic and I was having trouble with my top, and the choreographer that worked with us, well, not with him, but with me before on another show, happened to be in that dressing room. Now he was in there by himself, and I ran in there holding up my top, going hey, hey, you know, Enrique, can you fix my button? And here's this guy that wasn't supposed to be in there at the time, just sitting there in regular closed on a computer and I'm like running in and of course, like I said, he thinks I ran in topless. We will debate this to the death of us and just charming. Charming is hell, and he just kind of looked up in a little English accent, which I will not try to do. He was just like hello, and I was like, oh my god, I am so sorry. And for that moment, who a girl that usually is no words just kind of was like, Oh, there's something kind of cute about you. And I didn't know if it was the fact that he was really really tiny sitting in his chair and he just looked like a cute, adorable little thing you wanted to look squeeze an hug. No dog was around, no dragon outfit, nothing, And then I went on to do my guest spot, and he did his guest spot, and in the final curtain call, he's standing back there in a full on dragon outfit and I was like, oh, this is interesting and holding the cutest dog whatsoever, which is our original

6:24 mister Piffles, which you know, I always this is one of the harder things that I always have to say because it's a little bit raw steal. But we did lose him this past November four day shy of his seventeenth birthday. So anything you've ever seen on TV commercials, America's got talent for people that were lucky enough in Vegas that saw the show before twenty four of November was the original mister Piffles. So everything good that's ever happened, that dog has been around. And we were backstage curtain call and he's eating a donut. I'm in this fabulous white Nicole Miller evening gown ready for you know, the biggest curtain call of your life, and he's just standing there.

7:12 He's like, you want a donut? And I'm looking at this guy like he's insane. I'm like, we're about to do curtain call, and he goes, I've got a cute dog and I was like, well, I'll pet your dog in his face dropped, so I pet him too on his face. So Morgan and anybody who hasn't seen Piff the Magic Dragon, here's what's really funny is that John is dressed in a it's look. It's saying it's it's a fuzzy He's wearing a fuzzy dragon onesie and he's holding a Chihuahua and somehow exuding more masculine energy than ninety nine percent of the men in Las Vegas.

7:52 It's insane. His dragon skin is rhinestone to the hilt and it's velvet. He is the Liberachi of dragons in Las Vegas. I am in complete awe and jealousy right now. We didn't talk about this before, but I actually. Lived far far away. Wow, but I think I might need to, I don't know, take a plane and head to Vegas because this sounds amazing. By the way, Joe, we spent like half of our few hours a day we had after she got done with your show her raving about it, like raving, and she was like, I met.

8:34 She's amazing and the show's amazing. And just absolutely raving about it. So yeah, I'm sold. You guys just sold me. I cannot wait to see the chihuahuas. I cannot wait to see John and his Velvet one season. It's fabulous. It's fabulous. Yeah, it's a lot of fun. We've been there ten years now and are we have five chihuahuas, but only one is doing the show. And the one that's doing the show now is actually are you ready for this one percent scientific DNA clone of our original? How did you do that? A lot of money? Oh? My god, tell me, because I she's only five, she's only five, but I want to do it.

9:16 Wait, no, it's the best thing, So you can take the DNA. It's the best thing. Whatsoever. I love this company, viagin. I love them so much, the scientists, the people, their hearts. They are amazing. And we were, to be honest, we were really worried about it because we weren't sure how the public or the fans or anyone were going to take it. And this dog was in you know, as we'll call him Piff for now, and you know, because that's how it all came together. But he was in his life before me. It was literally his best friend, his everything, his everything in his career his buddy. And you know, it wasn't just a dog that was on stage with him. He actually came into his life when he was touring. It's very lonely on tour when you're by yourself. And he found this amazing dog through a friend of his that was on a show. And one night he did a show and he took his stage manager's chihuaha and took the chihuahua on stage and the audience went nuts. So after that moment, he went to a stage manager he goes, we have to, you know, find me a dog. I think I have found what I need, you know, in my act and I can have a buddy. And they went out the next day and they looked on gum Tree, which here in America would be like Craigslist, right, and they found this amazing chihuahua.

10:42 And they got there and he was a mess. He was being abused and he was like, I don't know, maybe I'm making a mistake in his stage manager said, hey, let's get him out of the situation. Let's at least, you know, rehome him, do whatever. So he took the dog home, gave him a bath, cleaned him up, fed him some good food, and the first thing he did was pee on his coat. And then the next few days he put him in the show and off stage he was a nightmare. The minute he went on stage. There was just something about it and he just relaxed and chilled. So he tried it again and again and it just clicked and the audiences just loved him. And at that moment he said, whether my career makes it or not, I have found like my soulmate, a friend, and him and that dog, toy, this is incredible, it's insane.

11:36 Him and that dog toured together, toured together, was together, and I came into the life you know, much later, and that was his best friend. So of course as we gained our life, you know together, we were like, you know, there's going to be that day, that day where you say goodbye to your love, you know, at pet, which is your family member. And he will cup and said, you know what, I've been doing a lot of reading. We actually let me tell you how the story got to the cloning. So we got a second dog. And the second dog his name is Tuey. And yes, it's insane.

12:16 I numbered him. It's gonna get better. So Tooey, we actually found on eBay. So we were up one night late and you know, Pip was just playing on eBay, playing on eBay, and a picture came up and he was like, is this for real? And I was like I think. So he goes, oh my god, they're selling a chihuah on eBay, and you know, we were like, we got to get this dog no matter what. Who sells a dog on eBay? So we feel like maybe it came from a puppy mill or something, because she would only meet us in a Wendy's parking lot. Yeah, at this point how. Most dateline stories start. Jade, Yes, okay, Wendy's parking work. By the way, don't get the Frosty. I do some really bad things. So yeah, so him and his assistant at the time went and picked up this dog in California, brought the dog home.

13:11 We were already in residency at the Flamingo for like a year, maybe year and a quarter. Brought him home cute at little thing whatsoever, and we were in the throes of insanity. We had just come off of America's Got Talent, and of course he killed it on there. He became the fan favorite, made the finals. I only did the finals with him because the story was about a magic dragon, it wasn't about you know him and at the time his girlfriend, you know, doing a show hanging out backstage, so it was this whole storyline and we got the dog and then we had some friends watching him because as soon as America's Got Talent was over two days later, Caesar's called and said, do you want a residency here? And even though he didn't win it, he was just fan favorite and boom we were off running.

14:01 And the first year how it all came together with him and I being together was we met before he did America's Got Talent, So I was sugar Mama until he got famous. I love it. He was actually doing a show at the Cosmo and then that show he was a small part in a larger show. That show shut down and he was like, okay, well he was waiting on his visa and things here and he goes I got to get famous really really fast. And one of our beautiful dear friends who was introduced to me through him, I am now the godmother to their son, which I think is amazing. That is She's like, you know, America's Got Talent came up, She goes, what do you have to do but lose, And he goes, oh, that's funny, the loser of America's got talent because everyone promotes winning.

14:52 But he ended up. But yeah, he ended up becoming a fan favorite. That's awesome. Yeah, yeah, I have to look all this stuff up. I don't get it here and see clips online. This is amazing. Yeah, this shit, our story is crazy. So yeah, getting Twoe too. We only did two shows. Two we did two. He hated stage. He would shake. He just I wish he was in here right now because when you lift up mister Piffles and hold them, he would just like, chill, chill. He was a perfect comedy dog. Two he goes into kung fu fighting. Legs are out, anxiety is out, eyes are bugged. So of course he didn't make the stage. But he was a great baby to mister Piffles, and they were like bus and buddies for you know, almost ten years of two Wee's life, because he'll be ten this year. And he kept Piffles young. He kept Piffles young.

15:46 Then the world shut down, you know, after so many years, and we didn't take Twoe on the road. He would stay with my brother and things like that when we would tour and our tour was crazy. We hit the road running that we literally packed up and lived four days on the road in three days at the Flamingo, Like that's how. Long How long did big At shut down? Like how long was the strip shut down? It's shut down in March. And then we were one of the first headlining shows back. Caesars called us and said, hey, do you guys want to come back? And we were like, people are going to kill us? What what? And they're like, no, no, no, no, no.

16:28 We wanted to put you in the big theater and we were in a smaller theater when we started, and. That I saw you in the small one and in the big one. Yes, And they said, you know, social distance wise, we can do it. And the whole time during COVID, I just to give him credit, my man has this sixth synh about things. During COVID. He goes, you know what, let's put together a really large show. Imagine if we ever went into a really bigger theater. Let's put this show together, let's be prepared, let's have it together. Not having any idea that Caesar's would make that call and Caesars made I know, Caesar's made that call, and he goes, yeah, we'll do it. And we went in full guns, blazing, huge show and they just went what And it's like he knew there was just something, you know, just I don't know. I can't even my eyes well up because I'm so proud of how he does things. He was brilliant.

17:27 And we went in and boom, there we go. We just we were in the big theater and we're like, you know, if they offer it to us, we're going to show them what we do with it. And of course Joe's seen the show and hopefully we've done a good job. We brought our friends for this is this is a very happy story. But our friends have two sons who were born with extreme allergies and there was a point in their lives where they actually really couldn't do a lot because they really couldn't get pneumonia. Incredible parents have done everything in the world to you know, research and trials and this and that. And for the younger boy who had you know who still has a boatload of allergies.

18:08 For his ten year old birthday, the doc he was doing really really well medically and the doctors were like, you should, you know, go start living your lives now, which is a huge thing I say to parents who have been on kind of the edge for a long time. And the boy said, I want to go to Vegas and I want Joe and Dean to come, and Dean was like, oh, well, we're going to take him to PITH, so we bring him to your show, and you guys pulled him up as. Johnny Johnny or Jimmy Jimmy, Jimmy Jimmy. Oh my god, we did, didn't you did? And two security guards came up to him at the end and they were like, you were the best Jimmy they've ever had. Yes, I remember now that I have full on goosebumps.

18:49 You guys like full on goosebumps. I'm gonna start trying twenty stories. You guys have already told them. So beautiful, because you know what, God, go ahead, Joe. Oh just every question you asked him. He gave you a very very like deep, thoughtful and honest response. And even I was like, okay, yeah, that makes my day even more because I just kind of always feel, let's put out the best energy possible. And I always say you know, do your best to put it out there. And we attracted an amazing energy and for some reason, his energy just attracted to my man and he picked him. And I believe that and he must have. Now that's even a better story for me that I love the fact that he had a moment that's incredible.

19:36 I think he'll remember it for the rest of his life. Oh all right, Jade, I want to ask you, since we are anxiety attics BS, what about do you. Still have it? This has been ten years in the resistency? Do you still have anxiety before you go on stage? And the follow up is how do you deal with not great energy because you are in Las Vegas and people sometimes don't bring their best game. No, No, it's hard. And if you want to talk about anxiety, yes, because you know, like I said, we've gone into the chihuahua thing this so this is where the anxiety starts. Second Chihuaha two after COVID, Third Chihuaha three Adore? All right, three Adoor doesn't fit into the green costume perfect amazing got him from a breeder. But he's a thirteen pound chihuaha, so he's in charge with something. No, we had his DNA tested three times because see, I keep the numbers going with these dogs. It just keeps me in track. So he's just a big gene chihuaha.

20:35 He's in charge of morale in love and then boom, we needed to get a dog. Piples getting older. That was a huge thing of anxiety. There was times where we would see him getting a little tired or not feeling good, and we're doing a lot of shows, and we got to the point where we started cutting him out of the shows because he's a beautiful animal and the last thing we want is any kind feeling of him being exhausted or not having fun. So we started doing a lot of tricks we weren't using them, and that's how the whole cloning thing came up. Is I'm so happy we're looping back to this because I have so many questions. Do you see similarities.

21:16 It's a bit crazy, it really is. So. Our fourth one is named Fortune because he cost a fortune and he happened to be four, but as he's getting older, he's now two years and two months. And the other day on stage, I was saying to my man, I had a moment because I looked down and he was holding his head exactly like Piffles would hold it, and this this is the clone, the clone, and I literally had to take a breath on stage, like I just kind of was like, you know, because it's still very you know, that will be I think forever We'll always be a bit raw. That dog, you know, I found the love of my life with that dog. He was on stage with us some of the best times, the warst times, the most anxiety times on stage. I mean when you're on stage, like even for America's Got Talent, you've got fifteen million people watching you live and you're doing magic, which there's no promises in that whatsoever. Like I know, with like singing and everything, there's none either.

22:19 But this is like at least you have a little bit of control. Sometimes in magic, the control can go you know, every direction. You got twenty five cameras in your face and you know, so, yeah, the anxiety is a bit real. But the cloning, I wish I could clone myself. I'm like, I'm like, wait a minute, how deep does this go? It goes deep, and I mean I don't want to keep people up even later at night, but if you go down the rabbit hole on the internet, it's insane. But it's a real thing, Like it's a real like. Barba Streison's done it. All these people have done it. I heard they're doing racehorses now. And it's a real thing.

23:01 And it's done. The scientist explained it. It's done so beautifully. It's it's like IVF. It's like it's it's done just beautifully. But there's no promises to temperament. There's none of that. That was my question, right, Okay, promises. Look, but I think timperament comes with your family, comes with your course, comes with the way. Yeah, and he's he's mister piffles to me. Do they grow? Do they grow inside? I would have sound so scientific right now and awful, but like inside, like inside a dog? Yes, okay, so there it's basically like you said IVF, like they take whatever the things and then they put it in a dog.

23:45 Does the dog have to be of the same breed? Okay, this is where it gets crazy. I imagined in my head when we had him hit this beautiful, hot, sexy female Chihuala, you know, just like you, babe. It can be of the same size. Okay, so my dog, so my dog could have the chihuahuas. Yes, which would be hot or or fortune could have come out of like a French bulldog. Yeah. I don't want to know any more than that. But they say everything is done just with like such kindness and beautiful and you can tell by the way they present when they bring you the animal and they do it's amazing.

24:32 It's like the reason to be honest with you. When we heard Barbara Streison did it and others, I was like, Okay, she's iconic. We can do it to sold. Yeah. Sold, that's all we need. And it's been the best thing that we've ever done. Okay, well you send. We used to text Joe later and send her the name because I'm already going to start planning. 26:41 I know it's the best. So I, of course, my our beautiful original in uh you know, Doggie Heaven, bet I have five little chihuahwas running around the house and at times it's a lot. I'm not gonna lie, it's a lot, especially when the two little now were finding their voice and every noise and everything is a bark, and you're just like, oh my god, oh my god, this is insane. I'm like, everybody, hush, and they just look at me like I'm crazy. But they're adorable. And I made a promise to the little ones when they turned seven months that they could jump up in the bed and have a sleepover. And last night was. They're not official for another two days, but last night was their first sleepover in the bed. So I fell asleep with five chihuahas in my bed last night.

Because out of all the things that stress us out in life, and Joe knows mine are a mini stories like this are the things that put a smile on my face and let me drift off to sleep when I'm imagining you in your five chihuahuas and how they got there, their names and their stories and ad ragon sleep. It's got some dragon pajamas. I got it. This is my bed is full of animals. I love it. By the way, my husband always said, we will never sleep with the dog, and we're not getting a dog. And then we got a dog and now he's like, yeah, here, come here. He's like, he can't fall asleep unless it's like wrapped around his neck.

28:15 So it's the best I all got it. They all have their places. The twins are trying to figure it out. Two we My second one loves to sleep on top of my head, my head, I put, I put an extra pillow behind my pillow. So that's where twoey three adoor, who is just you know, our chunk of muffin which we love to the point and no end. He likes to be in the middle, so he completely blocks anything that might happen in that bed whatsoever between the dragon and I getting made yes, none and Fortune who is now you know, the star of the show. He's paying the mortgage. You know, he's the one paying the mortgage.

28:56 He will find different spots, but he likes to go onunder the covers and under the covers the connection already him and I are super close. But immediately went to John like it's insane, like he sleeps right where Piffles used to sleep. It's really I don't know if it's like people are like, oh, you're just imagining these things, and I'm like no, no, I'm not even like it. There's there's this love and it's insane. But to go back to when energies aren't put out there, My best energy in life is all of my animals. You know. They keep me going and it sometimes I they're Chihuahuas, one of the hardest breeds to train, so they're they'll you'll take them outside, and I'm just like, yes, go go, go, go, yes, they all went come back inside and go, didn't I just take you outside? They will just come inside and ship on the floor and they will look at you.

29:52 They will look at you and go, well, it's nice in here. It's like it's warmer. So yeah. So dealing with puppies right now is and a bit crazy because then you've got three dogs who are trying to claim their territory. So a puppy goes poop and then I just stare at it and go, here we go, and then the other three are like, oh so this is the new spot. Boom boom boom boom boom, And I'm just like, I'm gonna lose my mind because they grow up, please grow up, please grow up. But you know, I've got a few more months and then I love this. Yeah they're getting better. But yeah, chaha was there funny little animals and long hair Chiha's on top of it, I have even a little bit more of this sass because. Yeah, they're cute, Yeah they are. They're very pretty.

30:33 This is actually a great segue because we really wanted to ask you. We heard you are going on tour. Yes, And I am curious because do you take them all with you? So tell us about the tour and you leave them with somebody? Yes? I thank god. My brother is brilliant and amazing. He does watch the dogs right now. Fortune goes on tour with us in certain places. But the toins have been a couple of times already because we're getting them acclimated to being on an airplane and go and they're fabulous. They just go in their bag, go to sleep. But no, my brother watches the dogs. I yeah, I wouldn't make it. I would just like have to come to one of you guys, curl up in a corner and just give up.

31:17 Is it's a lot, and it's also very hard now on the airplanes with dogs. Yeah, so many rules and laws and things have been changing that, you know, just just to go to Hawaii to get fortune to Hawaii was insane. Yeah, it's a ton of paperwork. And people were really really pushing the rules with like bringing their therapy duck. Yeah think yeah. And although that duck was really cute. Yeah, someone brought it brought a snake on and I was like, okay, we're just copying the movie. Now, this is just dumb. The snake can go underneath, I would say. So I have this thing because I do. I do live the Milana. I'm from Massachusetts. Joe and I grew up together.

31:57 And every summer I don't take my dog, like if we go on a ski vacation for a week. But every summer I take my kids home to the US to spend time with my parents for two months. And I'm like, who am I going to leave my dog with for two months? I would die? So she always comes with us. It's not that difficult. We have to have a full health certificate. Italy is a rabies free country, so it's actually harder for me to come back to Italy because America is not a raby s free country, so it's actually relatively easy. Our big thing is we can't save money a lot because only certain airlines allow a certain amount of dogs, a certain amount of where we want to go, uh, you know, where we want to sit, And so we always have to kind of play around because I always say to my husband, I'm not leaving her, I'm not going.

You know, he would say I was getting fired everywhere because everyone would call him the ere of magic.

34:52 And then the minute the dragon outfit went on it was okay to be grumpy. People loved it, and I loved it. Yeah, and that's what did it, Milan. I have two kids and we will come. I will get everybody I know to come, which I'm sure you'll already sell out anyway, So I don't know why you need me. But I'm so excited about this, and I'm definitely going to go to New York out. We are adding so many dates and I am so, so so excited. But it gets crazy. It's hard because we're at the Flamingo and then we'll take off, like if we're performing in the US or Canada, we'll take off on a Thursday night on a red eye directly after our show land somewhere wherever we're touring, probably go to press, immediately, go to the theater, light soundtech, do the show that night. If we have to get back to Vegas because we're only doing a one night or then we're on a six am flight Saturday morning back into Vegas to do the show that night.

35:51 Wait a second, Yeah, I'm already tired. How do you pack everything? You have a go bag like you're leaving the country. Yeah, but like we're breaking bad here. Yeah, like breaking bad, You're ready to go. We have a great team, thank goodness. You know, over all the years and things get packed. We don't truck and bus our tour in the US because we do so many dates at you know, the Flamingo. But it's a lot of cases. We travel with like ten to twelve cases, and it's hard. I'm not gonna lie. There's moments where if you talk about anxiety or like your stress or you're worried, there's times where you're getting on that flight. You know you've got to sold out house and the flights are delayed. You're exhausted, and that's the only way to get there is on a red eye and you've got to make press. So you land and you're running and you're going and you have to find that center and you have to find the quiet time and you know, for like the next two to three days, you're not going to sleep. It's going to be insane.

36:58 How do you re energize? Like Joe and I talk about this a lot, because I tend to get very exhausted from social interaction. I can be really social, but then I need to kind of take a breath for myself. Do you say the breath she means a week. Yeah, I get it totally, and but I always have this awe and appreciation for people who can feed off of it because they do exist. You might be one of them, I'm not sure, but they actually feed off of it and they don't need that calm time. How do you find your balance? You know, I think the balance is you. You know that that's a really hard one because there's days I feel like I have it, and there's days that I literally am like eyes are welling up, bodies starting to you know, just get a little crazy and go, I can't do this, I can't do this. But I think, what does it is?

37:49 The minute I hit that stage, the energy from everybody just it comes to you, and you know, you look to that and there's shows, I'm not gonna lie, there's shows where the audiences are very quiet, and I'll be in my head going, guys, I need you, I need you, I need you really bad. Right now I'm tired. You know. My brother is funny because he always says that I was born with energy. But I think I try to find my quiet moments, and there's hard days. There's not you know, the glimur of show business is what everyone sees on the stage and sees it all. But there's the days you're standing in the wings, in your head is you know, laying down on a prop. And I always have had this philosophy since I was younger, that those people paid to see a show. I chose this industry.

38:41 I love it. It's in my heart, it's in my soul. I love being out there. I feed off of the energy. And yeah, there's days that, like I said, my eyes of welled up backstage, I am exhausted and I'm like, why am I doing this? And then the minute that music starts, you know, ah, oh that's what I love. And you go out there and you just, you know, you rock it. And that audience paid to see a show. They didn't pay to hear you whine or complain or not give them one hundred percent energy. And whether there's one hundred people in that audience or thousands and thousands, they paid to see a show. And when they buy that ticket for me, and they read about the show and they want to come to the show, they made a decision to have a moment in their life. So who am I to take away that moment When I've already promised it to them by advertising, if that makes any sense.

39:40 Yeah, well, I think that speaks for being a performer. I mean, that's amazing. But yeah, Ajid, that speaks to being one of the performers. I went through a solid ten year old where I read every autobiography and memoir of every great female comedian. I mean, like the entire cast of the Golden Girls and everybody, and that dedication to the performance and to the show, especially in live theater, is a value that. I don't think is echoed enough. And I think that you sort of saying that throws me back to the fifties when very much was the show must go on and people.

40:24 Yeah, but why must it go on? Who said that? No, I know what you're saying, somebody. With a broken ankle and a need to prove their parents wrong. Yeah, yeah, no, thank you, thank you. I adore you for that, And yeah, I believe it. But I think it's always just been for me. It's such a passion and I do love it and I've performed like throwing up in the Wings I was sick on. I've never touched it since cream a mushroom soup. I just can't even and it's been fifteen years, but yeah, the show, to me, it must go on. And it does jump back into you know, maybe the fifties or the sixties when entertainment was a certain way, and I kind of think also where it wasn't as heavy with like social media and things, and you know, that's when the stars would you would they would pick up a newspaper because I've read so much about it. They'd pick up and go, oh, so and So's on the front page. And you never really knew much about any of them except for what would come out once in a while. And now with social media, everything in anything we do is out there.

41:37 So every moment you're representing yourself, your brand, your image, you're you know, if you're having an off day, you're just having an off day. But it can take one person to turn that off day into something that it totally wasn't. So I think you have to put in your head like this. I put myself out here, so I'm going to give them my best life humanly possible. I'm gonna give them the best I can. But there's those nights that I put my head in a pillow and just go, oh god, this has been a day, you know, because it's hard. There's you know, when you're traveling and excuse me, when you're traveling and you're on the road and you're not getting much rest. And then this is, you know, the point where you're doing a show, you think you're doing a fabulous show, and then boom, you're doing an after show meet and greet. And what we do is we give free after show meet greets.

42:29 My man and I and the dog go out there and you can take pictures with us on your cell phone and we will stand out there for hours. Why we meet as many people as want to stand. In line and after the show. After the show, wow, yeah, which is Joe and everyone came and took pictures and her and I literally held up the line, I'm not going to lie to you. We were like just chatting. We connected so quickly. And that's where Joe, you asked the question about energy and how to keep the energy going. And imagine standing out there after a show. Everyone loves it, you're doing so good, you're proud of yourself, and then you say, how do you keep the energy If you get negative energy? You're out there giving a free meet and greet, and it doesn't happen a lot, but just the other day it happened.

43:22 I'm saying hi to everyone. I'm being myself. This is me. I mean, I'm a girl's girl. I got you, I got your back. I see a beautiful woman coming up, her hairs out of place, I'm going to move it. If I see a girl that's a little more timid or her eyes are down, I'm going to do everything in my power to find something about her that someone might not have said, like your hair color is amazing, or I love your nails or that shirt is amazing, because maybe they're not hearing it as much because you're watching their body language. So my goal in the meat and greet is to find something fabulous about everybody and try to pull it out and have let them have that moment. Doesn't all work, and sometimes you'll get which is hard for me because I love women and I love being a girl's girl. You'll get a woman who does not want to hear anything about it because they're maybe wrestling or having a bad day or something else is going on, and instead of just saying hello to you, they go, no, I don't care for all of this, and then they turn around and take a picture and you yeah, and it's hard. It's hard because you're like, you're judging me based on a costume. You're judging me based on a character maybe I'm playing on stage, but you haven't had that moment of Hi, how are you?

44:42 I'm so and so how are you? To really get to know me? And that's when it can They work at and then they take the picture. But then you hear it in my voice right now, that's when you go, oh God, what am I doing? And I think you start questioning yourself and then you go, did I do something wrong? Did I not say this? And then you start going down this rabbit hole. And it took me a lot of years to realize that. In the beginning, if someone was a little mean or a little you know, gross, I call it gross spirited. There's a lot of other words I could use, but I would beat myself up about it, and I thought it was something I did or why am I this? Or why did I do my makeup this way? Or why did this? And then we you know, as women, we start nitpicking. We'll look in the mirror and go, oh, am I trying to be too pretty? Am I trying to give too much.

45:35 My personality is too big. Do I sink back down? Do I not do this? You know? I have cleavage, you know, I'm sorry. I have boobs, you know. And then I went, no, you know what, stop it everything that you are or who you are, and she's just not part of your tribe. Yep. So instead of being mean, you turn to that person, which I did the other day, and I said, oh, by the way, before you leave, I want you to know, I think you have the most beautiful smile. And her face dropped and I just went, have the most lovely day. And I said to myself, I don't know what her story is. I don't know what she's wrestling with or something else could be going on.

46:18 But to be honest, you know, I don't think you know, they realize like those little moments hurt. I'm still human, you know, and I want to give you everything I have and I'm going to give you my positivity, and those moments you just go, oh that sucked, that really sucked, and then you have to go, don't beat yourself up. Yeah, you know, But to not internalize, I mean, I know everyone always internalizes something, but to. Give it back with something positive because that makes you feel good. You're like, I'm not. I'm I don't need to match your energy. That's a big thing. I don't need to match yours. I don't know what you're going through. I tell my kids this all the time. You never know what people are going through in life. Just walk walkway. But that that's beautiful. But I know that can be draining. I really do it.

47:00 It can be because you know, we work really hard on the show, and I think people work hard in life. Everybody's trying to find their center, their paths, they're things that they do. Your energy is insane. Joe's energy is insane just coming through the camera. You know you can tell. And I always say, you know, everyone has their tribe, everyone has their group of people. But I also feel like in order to help each other get through things, that maybe we take that little breath once in a while and say that in the head instead of attacking or immediately just like ah, you know, just go oh okay, So today's just you and I don't click. But you know, tomorrow I could be squeezing an orange in the grocery store and you don't even know it's me, and we could have the best laugh, you know, but life is full of anxiety, life is insane, and life is draining.

47:54 And then I put on top of it five Chihuahas and a show where I worry every day that we're not living up to the expectation that that audience you know, wants. And then you have to tell yourself, no, you go out there and do the best you can do, you know, and if you show your true self, they find you. And then some crazy person named Joe finds you. And tracks you down. And I don't know if Jade wants us to say this, but if you reach out to them via their website, somebody gets back to you, which is incredible. We try, we really really do.

48:35 You know. Both John and I are very hands on. I believe in, you know, being the best I can with the fans, and I really I hate seeing fans. I love saying friends, you know, because I believe everybody when they come to the show, you kind of sink into our show. And I'm giving you all of my energy and I'm hoping that you are feeling it. And you know, we try to really be there for everybody and be the best of friends and do the meat greet after and have a lot of fun. But you know, there's being on stage. My man. While always saying being on stage is the easiest part of our career, it's all the stuff before and all the behind the scenes and all that that they don't see, but being on stage, I'm up there for an hour and a half to two hours, depending on the shows that we're doing, and I'm on cloud nine.

49:28 That is where I'm just in a room full of fun. You know, it's like a party every night, and then you come home in the chua shits on your floor. So life balance balance and needs balance balance. Yes, Jade, we can't thank you enough for this. This is awesome. I know you. I feel like we could do this for the next six hours. I'm definitely going to send our parents to go see you. I love you, guys. I want to come to Vegas right now. And I have to say that I do think think that by choosing to do what you've done with your life and spreading that much love and positive energy and awareness and giving people that much good is pretty fucking awesome.

We sleep, eat, perform, travel tour and we have to you know, we have a lot of respect for each other and we love each other to death. And I don't think our relationship would be what it is if we would have Matt when we were in our twenties. It takes life, It takes heartache.

The sky is blue, the grass is green until it burns out in the desert heat of the summer here in Vegas and then it's brown, you know, And it takes a lot. And I'm just so grateful and I like I said, I'm a girls girl. I love people. I want to hug people, I want to help people, I want to be on that stage performing, and I just I love it all. And I feel like I could talk to you guys for a billion hours and you have an. You've given me so much energy. I feel like I'm going to be up. I don't know. We have to have like a sorry my allergies are killing me. But you are absolutely fantastic. We are so excited by the way. The episode that you read for us comes out today, so we will tag you in it.

52:00 It's fantastic and funny. Can I tell you the funniest thing. It had been so long since I'd done that, and I was trying to get my studio. It's half of its in construction, and I was trying to get it up and I was doing this and Chihua was remarking and things were going on, and then my assistant's like, no, no, no, I'm going to send it, but no I didn't, and I did, and I did. I was like, just I'm gonna re record it now, and I really I have to admit one thing I know Joe picked up on it. You guys had picked up on it. I for the life of me, for that one word of the Canadian dessert or something oh, I was not could not get in my mind. And then the minute I sent it to you guys, I went, oh, I know how to say that.

I was like, Joe, what the heck is this? Like, I don't understand what this dessert is. What I'm like, I was a dessert. I don't know. I can't remember now, but let me tell you I had the best time because I open you two don't realize what you did for me. And I have to give you guys credit for something right now. And I'm not going to cry on you because I'm emotional today and it's one of those days. I haven't had a donut yet. But I had put my reading in some of that on the back burner for a very long time because I do scream and yell and talk from the stage and do things.

53:43 But I used to love doing voiceovers, in doing radio shows and everything, and I hadn't done it in a while. You guys don't realize by doing that, you opened up a performance side of me that had been a little dormant for a while. And I went on stage at night with more energy and more happiness than I've always done. But I went I felt like a superwoman because I did something I forgot that I loved and because of you guys, happy, I found that again and I went, wait a minute, you are pretty freaking fabulous. Doing things fucking fabulous.

54:23 And you know what, you might not have been great doing it because it was the first time in a long time, but I like was walking around the house going to be or not to be. I am going to read more stories, you know, and I was having But so I have to thank you too, because you guys are helping everybody, and you're there getting us through things and and your fan base through things and getting them through those moments. But I think you too deserve a thank you because you opened up something for me that makes my cheeks go up and I'm excited to maybe work again in the future with you and do an even better project.
